As the Scottish elections approached, newmediabureau were commissioned to create the campaign microsite for Scottish Labour. The site featured regular news updates, campaign trail picture gallery, campaign videos, Podcasts and RSS feeds. The Scottish elections are now concluded and the Building Scotland site is no longer live.
- Shepherd and Wedderburn Christmas Campaign

Respected law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn wanted an engaging Christmas campaign that was fun, educational and also a little bit different. Newmediabureau were commissioned by Go Consulting to create an e-card, an html email and a microsite featuring a competition, games and other interactive features. The site is proving immensely popular and demonstrates how a well-crafted Christmas campaign can raise the profile of an organisation as well as spread a little festive cheer.

The Scottish Association of Community Hospitals (SACH) asked us to create a website for them that would act as a centralised source of information for SACH members, with regularly updated news items, resources and newsletters. The site featured a bespoke content management system, as well as an e-newsletter provided through our nmbmailer program. The site is a good example of a simple community portal, and there are plans to eventually incorporate new features like a searchable database of community hospitals and a members' forum. Baillie Gifford recently published a free guide to investment trusts. Newmediabureau were asked to create an intuitive and fun microsite based on the look and feel of the hard copy brochure. We decided to animate some of the characters form the brochure as a way to draw users further into the site.

Edinburgh University Festivals Office tasked newmediabureau with revamping their
website to complement their new branding and literature. In addition to redesigning
the site, we also seamlessly integrated a legacy site into the new design. The
new site has a bespoke CMS system that allows Festivals Office administrators
to update the site, adding news, comments and reviews for the shows they are
promoting. Edinburgh University Festivals Office is one of newmediabureau's
longest standing and respected clients - we have worked with them for over five
years, during which we have continued to evolve, enhance and refresh their websites
and online offerings.

Respected investment managers Baillie Gifford ran an essay writing competition
in association with the Financial Mail on Sunday. Targeted at 16 year olds in
higher education, our brief was to create a fun and engaging website that allowed
pupils to enter the competition online, send to a friend, and most importantly
of all, see what they could win! We also created a follow-up HTML (and plain
text) email that we sent to 3,000 high school teachers.
Trendy shoe retailers Base London asked us to create a football chant competition
for their website (we created the Base London site in 2004). Instead of producing
a complex and unnecessary back-end competition admin area, we developed a neat
and inexpensive email-based solution. A Base administrator was able to remotely
upload and delete entries to the chant page via email. Approved chants could
be read or listened to online (but not during work hours!). We thought it prudent
to put a Parental Advisory sticker on there too - some entries were a bit choice.

Following a comprehensive investment trust rebranding exercise, Baillie Gifford
asked newmediabureau to provide them with a full suite of online marketing
materials, including promotional microsites, email ads and banners (including
gifs, Flash and fully interactive rich media ads). During Baillie Gifford’s
campaigns we work closely with media buyers and third parties to ensure our

Newmediabureau were asked to redesign the website for Scotland's Commission
for Children and Young People (SCCYP). Extrapolating the SCCYP speech bubble,
we revamped the now-iconic smiling faces and incorporated the brand colour scheme
across SCCYP’s online communications. In addition, we developed an online
template-based newsletter program, flash-based games, and an online media schedule.

We all want to know what the latest hot marketing agency is up to, but no one
more so than Betty Montgomery, Newhaven Agency's resident curtain twitcher.
Betty is one of newmediabureau's proudest creations and netted us a number of
prestigious awards including The Scottish Advertising Awards Best Website 2005
and a bronze at the Roses Advertising Awards 2006. If it's going on at Newhaven,
Betty knows about it, and isn’t afraid to spill the beans over a cup of
earl grey and an empire biscuit. The site we developed neatly encapsulates the
Newhaven zeitgeist (and questionable sanity), and continues to help attract
new clients to the award-winning agency.

Creative Edinburgh asked newmediabureau to help them develop a community portal
website for the creative industry in Edinburgh. The Creative Edinburgh site
allows visitors to find different kinds of local creative agencies with ease,
using a range of categories and search criteria. Creative agencies that register
online can update their entries with the site's unique CMS system. The site
dynamically recognises those agencies that update their entries most frequently
and gives them additional prominence. The site is a true community portal used
by industry professionals and the business community alike.

Author Zane Radcliffe and publishers Black Swan commissioned newmediabureau
to create a website to promote Zane's latest novel. As you might expect, the
site has lots of information about Zane and his work, with links allowing you
to buy the book online and contact the author. Zane's other novels are also
showcased.

Ryden lettings have a legacy system that manages their letting business. Previously
the system produced flat html web pages containing the details of specific properties
for let. Newmediabureau developed a site for Ryden that incorporated a new back-end
interface that integrated with their existing legacy system . Using a bespoke
admin interface Ryden can dynamically add or remove properties, amend details
and add pictures to the site. Visitors to the site can search the website using
various search criteria, and register to receive email updates.
